She was first exposed to international relations when she studied Mandarin in Taipei, Taiwan her junior year of high school. Since then, she has become increasingly interested in U.S.-China relations and IR’s intersection with law. Outside of school, Hanna enjoys traveling, philosophy, and playing piano.
