We hope you’ve had a great summer! Glimpse From The Globe, USC’s only foreign affairs media organization and news site, is looking to bring on some reporters and editors! All students interested in writing about foreign affairs and current events are invited to apply.

At Glimpse, we publish articles, op-eds, news analysis, podcasts, videos, and more about every region in the world and every issue — climate change, global governance, tech and media, national security, conflict studies, human rights, economics and more.

We are currently looking for staff writers and multimedia editors to join our newsroom. No experience is required — all grades and majors are invited to apply.

Joining Glimpse is a great way to add to your portfolio, publish your work, improve your editorial skills, and join a tight-knit community of students passionate about global causes.  All you need is an interest in editorial work, a curiosity for world issues and a desire to have your writing published!

APPLY HERE using your USC email — applications are due Wednesday, September 8 at 11:59 PM PST. Because of the nature of this fall semester, we will be operating and meeting both in-person and remotely. Staff writers can work from anywhere.

If you are interested, please meet us at the involvement fair on Monday, August 30th from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Trousdale Parkway or virtually on Tuesday, August 31st from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The Zoom link will be posted on our social media. We hope to see you there!
