Guest Author: Eleanor Savas is a junior at the University of California, Berkeley majoring in History and Political Science. She is currently writing her History honors thesis on the legislative history of abortion in the United States during the nineteenth century. As an undergraduate researcher at the Berkeley Center for Comparative Equality and Anti-Discrimination Law, she also enjoys exploring the implications of various policy initiatives aimed at ameliorating systemic inequalities. On campus, Eleanor is also a co-director of the ASUC Student Legal Clinic, and she hopes to attend law school following graduation.
