Dan Morgan-Russell is an International Relations/Global Economy major at the University of Southern California. Dan is spending the Spring 2015 semester studying in Washington, DC, where he works as a research assistant at the Woodrow Wilson Center for International Scholars. Prior to studying in DC, Dan interned at USC Shoah Foundation, which works to prevent genocide through education. Dan also served three semesters as the executive producer of Platforum, a nightly talk show at USC, where he oversaw 160 episodes devoted to international relations and domestic politics, as well as sports, entertainment, and campus affairs. Dan also wrote about international relations and domestic policy for two USC news publications, The Daily Trojan and Neon Tommy. Dan is primarily focused on the interaction between security and economics, preventing genocide, countering insurgencies, and the changing efficacy of governmental organizations. During his free time, Dan also runs the eponymous Dan Morgan-Russell Consulting firm, which helps scripted media writers create realistic international policy for their artistic works. Dan is also an award-winning bread baker, having baked for over a decade.
